Maggie’s Story
I felt lost working out with home workouts. At the gym, I was doing the same exercises as my friends as I didn't know what machines were better for me, and I never realised how important lifting heavy objects could have such a consequence until it affected me and put me behind in my goals. I never got the feeling after a workout as I do now! I also have a terrible relationship will food.
I am a very anxious person, so I was apprehensive about how silly I looked or how stupid I was when asking questions, and more so at the gym, I felt worried that people would judge me. I was also worried that I would get told off if I had an "off day or an off week."
Cedric gave me confidence and was patient with me, nothing was ever a silly question, and he has never made me feel guilty about eating poorly, but not only that, he is such a nice person! He always takes the time to chat with me and see how you are, and he always helps in any way he can and not just gym-related things, personal things too, and for me, that's what makes all the difference!
Overall am mentally a different person; my mental health is so much better, and so is my anxiety and even my relationship with food as I used to eat all the time emotionally. Not only that, but my overall shape has changed, so I feel so much more confident than I used to, and it has changed different aspects of my life.
I feel more confident and generally a happier person; I have gained confidence in other aspects of my life, and people have noticed it too. My anxiety is nowhere as bad as when I first met Cedric, and I enjoy working out and the gym, whereas two years ago, there is no chance these words would ever come out of my mouth!

Becky’s Story
I lost around two stones in 2020 and wanted to feel fitter and more healthy as I approach 50. I also wanted to tone up my problem areas; having had four children, I wanted to improve my physical appearance to look and feel better. I was not totally unfit, but I did not enjoy exercise or relish the thought of it. I was unmotivated and didn’t know where to start or what to concentrate on. My exercise was limited to looking after my children and some walking.
Whole Body Approach offers a unique system that has enabled me to enjoy exercising again as I once did. The techniques used to allow a beginner such as myself to be sensibly eased into exercise, challenged where necessary and motivated to continue a healthier and fitter journey. The experience is total and bespoke. This is a significant benefit to someone like myself or has little or no knowledge of improving my fitness levels. The software offered also provides excellent support and guidance.
I feel better and have only been with Cedric and Whole Body Approach since October last year. His knowledge and specific experience are so targeted to me that I feel I have benefitted enormously since starting the programme, physically and mentally. I have been able to adopt a different mindset to exercise and feel that I am not a lost cause for changing my body. This has not been forced upon me in an evangelical way but gently reinforced and embedded over time, which has allowed me to gain confidence in the support and knowledge Cedric provides.
I would take this opportunity to thank Cedric for his dedication, hard work and complete, all-encompassing care, which surpasses exercise itself and enters nutrition, mental health and general wellbeing.

Rebecca’s Story
Before I started with Cedric at Whole Body Approach, my life was different in many ways; I would eat what I liked when I liked, my only exercise was walking to and from work totalling 20 mins a day, and my fibromyalgia had a mind of its own, having flare-up so often and many times lasting for weeks.
My first fear about starting the Whole Body Approach Training System is that I didn’t have a clue when it came to exercising; I had only just started the gym but was only doing cardio as that was all I knew. I was also worried about looking stupid due to having no knowledge of exercising properly for my condition.
Since starting the Whole Body Approach Training System, my mindset has changed completely. Don’t get me wrong, I still think sometimes I may look silly, but I know that the exercises I am doing are tailored to me...it doesn’t matter about others and how much weight they can lift or how fast they can run. I count my calories every day, but I don’t find it tedious; if anything, it’s now become a habit. Doing this has helped me to realise that I was eating the wrong foods. I was a grazer; now, I eat three meals a day and still eat my daily dose of chocolate! My confidence has grown, and I don’t see exercising as daunting anymore. It’s actually a great relief after a stressful day.
Since starting the Whole Body Approach Training System, we have focused on managing my fibromyalgia and noticing when I am about to flare up so that we can do what we can to prevent or ease it. I have flare-ups less regularly than before, and when I do, they only usually last for a couple of days tops! Not only that, but Cedric has helped me identify what medications are causing me issues and preventing me from losing weight. Since then, I have swapped to alternatives and have lost 10lbs in 3 months which I did not think was possible, but with my diet and regular exercise, it really has shocked me.
I am astonished by the results that I have achieved but also by Cedric as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better PT, he has made me feel so at ease and not just that, but he hasn’t given up on me once; there was a point I was very low mentally and physically, and he guided me through it, encouraged me to continue and look where I am now! I am a lot happier and, I believe, healthier as well. I make better food choices and now walk at least 10,000 steps near enough every day.
It’s really is worth trying. I honestly have not regretted it; Cedric has helped me physically and emotionally cope with my condition better in 8 months than any doctor or consultant has in 7 years!

Jack’s Story
I’d always kept relatively fit playing football/basketball but was never a big gym guy. Now I’ve got into my thirties, and I thought it might be time to start looking after my body a bit more so I can maintain playing basketball. I’d also put on some weight, so I wanted to get in shape.
I didn’t have too many fears before. My worries were eased from the start. Before starting the training system, Cedric approached me in the gym, who helped me with my form during a workout. It was evident very quickly that not only does he know his stuff, he’s also very passionate about what he does. He was the reason I decided to start the program. I was interested in a trainer but didn’t want a trainer with a stock program for everyone across the board.
I joined the program, and I’ve been given workouts and weekly sessions with Cedric through the app. Various strength and stability workouts all through the app (which is very clear and easy to use. We tracked my progress through the app with all my personal stats, from weight and body percentage to sleep. Just when you get comfortable with where you are in the program, Cedric throws in a curveball to keep things challenging and keep the momentum going. The main thing between then and now that’s changed has been my motivation. Having a trainer and a specific program has really helped me maintain motivation.
When I started, my body fat % was over 25% (which is classed as fat for my age, height etc.). In the last three months, I’ve dropped 4% body fat. My body shape has changed significantly, and I’ve strengthened my body considerably in a completely functional way to basketball. When I’ve been training/playing one on one, the difference is clear. My cardio shape is much better, my shooting range and accuracy have increased, and I don’t get tired walking up the stairs!
I feel great. I didn’t really realise my body was in such a bad way until I started looking after it a bit more. I do a manual job, too, so it’s made my day to day more comfortable. So I’m over the moon with how it’s going and can’t wait to continue pushing on and bettering myself.
